Nasreen Bhumgara

Nasreen Bhumgara is currently a Pre-Medicine student at the University of Maryland. She is very dedicated to her career goals and have worked very hard to get where she currently is, and will continue to do so until her goals has been achieved. She strives to get her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science. The Public Health field is one of the most vast fields to get a degree in, and will help her expand her knowledge on the health of greater populations, preparing her to hopefully get accepted into a reputable Medical School. Her final career goal is to become an in-patient pediatrician. She wants to use her education to help children improve their quality of life, by making sure that they are physically and mentally healthy; develop long-term relationships with a diverse group of students from all over the world during her undergraduate and medical school education. For the past four years, she volunteered to teach the youngest class of her organization’s religious classes. She teaches the kids the basics of Zoroastrianism, and what it means to be a Zarthusti. She takes pride in teaching the youngest class, and hope to make a similar contribution to the Zoroastrian community in the future.
